Rep Member, Jide Obanikoro Gives Idea On What To Be Done About Collapse Of Naira

House of Reps member, Ibrahim Jide Obanikoro has stated what to be done about the collapse of Naira.

The rep member representing the Eti-Osa Federal constituency made this known in a tweet via his official Twitter handle.

According to him, the Central Bank of Nigeria should mandate that all domiciliary accounts be closed for 12 months to see its effect on Naira. He also pointed out that one can’t go to any Western country and open a foreign currency account.

Jide Obanikoro’s tweet reads, “I am not the CBN Governor but at this moment, I’m of the opinion that CBN should mandate that all dorm accounts be closed for the next 12 months. Let’s see the effect on the Naira. After all, you can’t go to any of the Western worlds and open a foreign currency account”

Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, popularly called IBO, was born of noble birth to the family of Senator Musiliu Olatunde and Alhaja Morufat Obanikoro of Isale-Eko a part of Lagos State in the early eighties.
