Popular Yoruba gospel singer, Tope Ajogbajesu, who is one of the twin brother of the renowned singers has been reported dead.
According to reports gathered, Tope died early hours of Friday after being ill for some time.
Tope and Jide, who were not biological twins started singing at the age of twelve. They rose to prominence after the release of their debut album ‘Winner’ in 2004.
The duo was well known for their tungba style of gospel music which made some of their tracks an anthem among Nigerians especially the Yoruba people.
Though, it’s been quite some time they were seen or heard of in the musical scene.
Tope was said to be seen at Agelu Prayer Mountain a couple of days ago with his mum.
The Ajogbajesu twin brother however died early today after being ill for some time.
